Nate Downey
Pastor
Nate serves as a pastor/elder of The Town Church. He is the primary preacher during our Sunday gatherings and provides overall vision and leadership for Town Church.
Nate has lived in Humboldt County since he was in kindergarten and can't imagine being anywhere else. In addition to his pastoral ministry, he has worked in the architecture/ engineering sector for over 20 years. He holds a Masters in Missional Leadership from the Resurgence Training Center in Seattle, WA.
Nate has been married to Dallass for 19 years and they have 4 children. He enjoys reading, trail running, stories, and enjoying the incredible natural beauty of Humboldt County.

AFFILIATIONS
Statement of Faith
The following is adapted from the Confessional Statement of The Gospel Coalition.
The Triune God We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who know, love, and glorify one another. This one true and living God is infinitely perfect both in his love and in his holiness. He is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy to receive all glory and adoration. Immortal and eternal, he perfectly and exhaustively knows the end from the beginning, sustains and sovereignly rules over all things, and providentially brings about his eternal good purposes to redeem a people for himself and restore his fallen creation, to the praise of his glorious grace.
